IF AWARD 2011
An international jury has selected the ATMOS for an IF product design award 2011!
This year 993 products have been awarded. 2,756 products from 1,121 contestants submitted from 43 different countries, competed for a coveted IF product design award.
The ATMOS was able to successfully assert itself in a highly competitive, international environment. The ATMOS will be displayed at the IF product design award exhibition 2011, centrally located at the Hannover Exhibition Center. The exhibition opens on March 01, 2011 and runs until June 2011. The ATMOS can be found in the IF product design award yearbook 2011.
NOMINATED FOR GERMAN DESIGN PREIS 2011
The jury of the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2011 has reached its decision and emphasised that nomination for the Design Award 2011 in itself represents special recognition of design quality. Brick in the Wall was one of the exclusive group of companies with the product ATMOS, selected to take part in the competition for the Award of Awards.
Brick in the Wall® received the very prestigious ‘Red Dot Design Award Winner 2010’, as well as the ‘Design Plus Award 2010’ powered by Light & Building.
It’s not a secret how tough it is to be granted with the ‘Red Dot Design Award’ if you know that this year approximately 1636 companies from 57 countries ( from all types of industries ) have taken part with a total of 4252 entries.
In the end, a renowned jury selected only the very best from the top-class field. As a winner, the “ATMOS” will be displayed for at least one year in the red dot design museum in Germany.
A jury of lighting specialists has chosen the ATMOS from the company Brick in the Wall out of 385 entries. The 44 innovative Top-Products ( 32 products from Lighting companies and 12 products from young designers ) will be shown at Light & Building in Hall 5.1 C40.
